To put it differently, if you remove an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten address under the same domain name, you’ll get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk messages, you can use the catch-all functionality with email filters in order to receive only real email messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

In case you’ve got a Linux website hosting package with us and you would like to enable the catch-all option for a specific email mailbox that you have in the account, it’ll take literally just one single click of the mouse in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel to achieve this. A catch-all button is available on the right side of each email address that you have set up under any domain registered in your account. You can pick one address per domain by clicking on the respective button. This will enable the feature instantly, so all emails sent to misspelled email addresses will be delivered there. Clicking on the button once more will disable the catch-all feature. If you have activated email forwarding, our system will display a cautionary message and you will not be able to activate the catch-all feature unless you delete the forwarding or you can simply select another mailbox to be the catch-all one.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated package with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the addresses that you create using any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be enumerated in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to activate this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the same way you’ll be able to deactivate the feature, in case you do not need it anymore.
